When memory feels different from before
You may be a good fit for the Doclogues Memory Test if you, or someone in your family, has noticed changes like these:
- Forgetting names or recent conversations more often than before
- The word on the tip of the tongue, again and again
- Misplacing keys, phone or glasses more often
- Walking into a room and forgetting why, or losing track in the middle of a task
- Depending on lists and alarms far more than you used to
- Family members have noticed changes in memory or thinking
Everyone forgets things sometimes. What matters is a clear change from your own normal. Many causes, including stress, poor sleep, low mood, thyroid problems, vitamin B12 deficiency and some medicines, are treatable, and checking early gives you the most options.
What is the Doclogues Memory Test?
A short, friendly check of memory and thinking, together with two quick questionnaires on mood and anxiety, because low mood, worry and poor sleep can all affect memory. It is a screening assessment that helps decide whether further tests are needed. It is not a diagnosis.
Memory and thinking test
The Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), done live on a video call. It covers memory, attention, language, planning and orientation. It takes about 10 to 15 minutes, and there is nothing to study.
Mood questionnaire
The PHQ-9, a short online form that screens for low mood. The family fills it in, together with the patient. It takes about 3 minutes.
Anxiety questionnaire
The GAD-7, a short online form that screens for anxiety and worry. The family fills it in, together with the patient. It takes about 2 minutes.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a diagnosis?
No. The Doclogues Memory Test is a screening assessment. It shows whether there is a concern and whether further tests are needed. It does not replace an in-person examination.
Who should take the test?
Adults who feel their memory or thinking has changed, and families who have noticed changes in a parent or relative. It is also useful for anyone who would like a baseline to compare with later.
How long does it take?
The video session takes about 45 minutes, including the family history and the memory test. The two family forms take about 5 minutes in all and are filled in beforehand.
Does the family need a Google account for the forms?
No. The forms open from a link on any phone or computer, with no login.
Can the test be done from outside India?
Yes. Choose the International option. Please tell us your time zone when you message the clinic so we can fix a suitable time.
What if the result shows a concern?
Dr Naik will explain what it means on the follow-up call and advise the next step. This may include blood tests, brain imaging, or an in-person evaluation. If a repeat test is advised, it is included in your fee.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Your details and answers are used only for clinical assessment and follow-up by your treating doctor, and the forms ask for your consent before you begin.
Can I change my appointment time?
Yes. Please message the clinic on WhatsApp at least 24 hours before your session.
